JoomFlix – Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing, downloading, or using any JoomFlix extension. By accessing or using JoomFlix products, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. General Information
JoomFlix provides digital extensions, plugins, modules and components for Joomla!® and VirtueMart® platforms.
All JoomFlix products are delivered electronically. No physical goods are shipped.
2. License & Open Source Policy
All JoomFlix extensions are released under the GNU General Public License (GPL v2 or later), unless explicitly stated otherwise.
This means:
- You are free to install, use and modify the software.
- No functional restrictions are imposed beyond those defined by the GPL license.
- Ownership of the software code is not transferred.
Support, updates and related services are governed by these Terms.
3. Purchasing an Extension
When you purchase a JoomFlix extension, you receive:
- Access to the latest available version of the extension
- Updates and premium support for the selected license period
- Access to documentation and support resources
By purchasing, you acknowledge that:
- Prices may change at any time without prior notice
- Discounts or promotions may be offered at JoomFlix’s discretion
- Purchasing does not grant exclusivity or ownership rights
4. License Duration & Usage
Unless stated otherwise, licenses are time-based.
- After license expiration, you may continue using the extension indefinitely
- Updates and support are no longer available without renewal
- Renewing a license restores access to updates and support
Each license is valid for the number of domains specified at purchase.
5. Support Policy
Support is provided only for active licenses.
Support includes:
- Installation guidance
- Configuration assistance
- Bug investigation related to JoomFlix code
Support does not include:
- Custom development
- Template or override debugging
- Third-party extension conflicts
- Server, hosting or PHP configuration issues
JoomFlix reserves the right to limit or refuse support in cases of abuse, non-cooperation, invalid licensing or requests outside standard support scope.
6. Updates
- Updates are available only during an active license period
- Updates may include bug fixes, security improvements and new features
- Backward compatibility with customized installations is not guaranteed
7. Compatibility Disclaimer
JoomFlix extensions are tested with the latest stable versions of Joomla and VirtueMart.
Compatibility with third-party extensions, templates or custom environments cannot be guaranteed.
8. Warranty & Liability
All JoomFlix products are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JoomFlix shall not be liable for direct or indirect damages, data loss, business interruption or financial losses.
9. Important Notice & Backup Responsibility
Before installing, updating or configuring any JoomFlix extension, it is the sole responsibility of the customer to create a full backup of the website, including files and database.
While our extensions are carefully developed and tested, changes to a live website always carry potential risks depending on hosting environments, templates, third-party extensions and custom configurations.
JoomFlix cannot be held responsible for data loss, website malfunctions, or unexpected behavior resulting from the installation, update or use of any extension without a proper backup.
By proceeding with the installation or use of our products, you acknowledge and accept this responsibility.
10. Refund Policy
We want you to feel confident when purchasing JoomFlix extensions. Customer satisfaction is important to us, and we aim to be fair and transparent in all refund-related matters.
Due to the digital nature of our products, refunds are not automatically guaranteed once access to downloads, updates or license keys has been granted. However, refund requests are always reviewed carefully on a case-by-case basis.
A refund may not be applicable in situations where:
- The extension has been downloaded and successfully used
- The reported issue is caused by third-party extensions, templates or hosting environments
- The product functions as described and documented
- Extensive support or troubleshooting has already been provided
However, if a technical issue is clearly caused by a JoomFlix extension and cannot be resolved within a reasonable timeframe, we will of course provide a full refund.
Please note that transaction or payment processing fees are non-refundable.

11. Account & Access Security
- License access is personal and non-transferable
- Account sharing or abuse is strictly prohibited
- Violations may result in suspension or termination of services
12. Intellectual Property
All JoomFlix branding, logos, documentation and website content remain the property of JoomFlix.
Joomla!® and VirtueMart® are registered trademarks of their respective owners and are not affiliated with JoomFlix.
13. Changes to These Terms
JoomFlix reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of JoomFlix products constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
